Tis' the Season To Be On Guard

Good Day!!! I hope everyone had an Awesome Thanksgiving....Today as I was thinking about this wonderful Holiday Season, something came to mind. There is a lot of good will out there at this time of year, but at the same time there are a lot of folks looking for opportunity to take from other people. Just a few weeks ago a friend was putting her grocery cart away and up pull two people in a car, one jumps out and steals her purse. Needless to see, now is the time to be on guard and know your surroundings. Be safe that is the main thing, as well you want to be safe in your home. Thanksgiving Day Dessert Recipes

Wow!!!! Can you believe tomorrow is Thanksgiving, so as we promised we have several dessert recipes to share for you. What I did was try a few different kinds of recipes. Of course I gave one recipe that is baked over and over at Thanksgiving, it is my Apple Pie Recipe and I add now sugar to it whatsoever and it comes out so delicious.  So that recipe follows:
-Ingredients
*Two Pillsbury Pie Crust
*8-10 Honey Crisp Apples
*Two Tablespoons of Cinnamon
*Dash of Nutmeg
*Four packets of Stevia
*Two Tablespoons of Butter

First take and put one pie crust into a pie plate, if glass I spray mine so they don't stick. Cut up the apples into slices, then add three packets of Stevia, One and a half Tablespoons of Cinnamon and a dash of nutmeg. Mix it with the apples well, if you taste them and it does not taste sweet enough just add another packet of Stevia. Place the apples in the pie plate. Take butter cut it up and put over apples. Next the second pie shell and put one top and then mold together the edges. Cut several slits in to pie. Then take remaining Cinnamon and one pkt of Stevia mix together put on the top. Put tin foil around the edges then place in 300 degree heated over, cook for 25 minutes, then take out remove tin foil. Then bake until golden brown and apples have softened.

Thanksgiving Turkey

Good Day Everyone and thanks for stopping by. Hard to believe in just a few days it will be Thanksgiving. I know there are a lot of late shoppers that have not picked up the food for the meal....Knowing the Turkey is the center of the Feast, I've put a couple guides together as to help you know how much turkey to get, as well how long to cook that bird. One thing I know there are so many different ways to cook a turkey so I'm going to give several links to recipes. Tomorrow we are going to share several dessert recipes. I'll be sharing my Famous Apple Pie recipe that is so simple and does not take any sugar what so ever (it's all in the apples). Good Day Everyone and thanks for stopping by. So I live in the Odenton area and it seems to me that everyone is hooked on Starbucks!!!! Not me, there is a very well kept secret in Odenton on Town Center Blvd, it is called Baltimore Coffee and Tea. The coffee is to die for. They have tons of coffee you can buy to take home, have it ground or take home beans. You can also get your specialty coffee made as well and sit down read the paper and enjoy.

Don't let me forget to tell you about the Tea's, so many different kinds. As well as they serve a full breakfast and lunch menu, along with muffins and cookies. The food is out of this world as well.

What more could you ask for here, oh they sell gifts as well.

Today the All About Houses Blog is going to talk a little about the Housing Market and being on the fence about buying or selling. Right now it is still primary a Seller's Market and what determines what is a Sellers or Buyers market is the amount of inventory. So let me break down the Sellers and Buyers Market meaning a little bit more.

Sellers Market: One to Four months of inventory listed on the market. The lower the number the more competitive Sellers Market

Balanced Market: Four to Six Months of inventory on the market.

Buyers Market: Anything over Six Months of inventory on the market.

One thing is in any given county, subdivision, state or region it can be both buyers and sellers market. How is that possible, it depends on the price range of a house. An example of that is any houses  priced below 250K may have 2.2 months of inventory, houses priced between 250-500k could have 3.3 months of inventory and maybe anything over 501K may have 7.8 months of inventory.

Just a few stats for counties in Maryland
Anne Arundel County  3.4 Months of Inventory
Howard County  2.7 Months of Inventory
Prince Georges County 2.4 Months of Inventory
Baltimore County 3.0 Months of Inventory
*Please note these are counties of the State of Maryland

So with this information you maybe thinking wow now is the time to sell and you are correct. Some people think let's wait until Spring, but everyone is waiting until then. So what happens, more competition from other people selling their house, possibly a lower offer. 

As a buyer you may thing now is not the time to buy, but actual it is a great time to buy. Rates for FHA and VA are still below 4%, which means you will get a great deal. At the same time you have to have a team that can act quick. That when you send in an offer for a house they you want to be your future home, the mortgage company can get it done in less then 30 days, that can make a huge difference.
